    Office 2013 Pro Updates

I am using Office Pro 2013 on a fully up to date Win10 64 system. With all the problems out there these days I would like to confirm that it is fully patched.

I believe I have the click to run version. The Product Information listed under the Account page shows that I have version 15.0.4569.1508. The Microsoft Office 2013 page reports:

Most Office 2013 products, including Office 365 versions, are kept up to date automatically by using a technology called Click-to-Run. If you’d like to verify that you’re up to date, check your Office version number and manually update Office if necessary.
Tip: The most current version of Office 2013 is 15.0.4903.1002, which was released on February 22, 2017.

When I try to force an update I get a message that "Something went wrong", followed by some equally helpful text and error code 30088-27. If I follow the links, it basically tells me to reinstall Office from scratch. I really don't want to go down that path.

Anyone found a way to update C2R versions of Office 2013 manually?

Dan, have a look at this MSDN blog post which has a solution for the 30088-27 problem.

Acc to a recent WS article by Susan Bradley, MS has missed some Win10 updates recently. Since Office usually updates when Win does, maybe your version will catch up later this month—eg next Tuesday.

Of course. But if you maintain the good practice of never opening an unexpected attachment, it's unlikely you'll get hit via an Office exploit.
