I'm now seeing FF update 52 and there are some rather substantial changes. One or more that may even affect this site. I looked at info. about it on Google and this site: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/52.0/releasenotes.
Looks like major changes to me when some Plug-Ins will no longer work, but then I'm not a computer professional. Anyone else have any comment on this?

I don't see any issues that would affect The Lounge, except warning of the login on non-https pages - which you should be warned about.
cheers, Paul

Okay, I got FF 52 (actually it's now 52.0.1) on my Win 7 machine. It works fine however some of the older plug-ins are now gone. The only one I'm a little concerned about is the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in which now gone.
I am getting warned before and when I sign on to this site that it's not secure. Is anything being done about this?

In the Firefox 52.x and later versions, there are 2 entries in the "about:config" page that control the password warnings.
Try setting the following to false:
security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled false (Default true)
security.insecure_password.ui.enabled false (Default true)
If you don't know how to set entries in about:config, you should probably just live with the new behavior.
What I am left with after this change is on some sites (not all) there is a small popup which appears (before or after clicking on the username field) which has the saved login name for the site. After clicking on that name, the saved password is entered and you can click the login button.
I hope this helps make the transition easier.

When I said I was getting warned about this Windows Secrets site not being secure, I wasn't faulting the Mozilla people. I think they are doing a good thing putting up the warning. I was asking if anything is being done to make this site secure. I had noticed it wasn't secure even before updating to FF 52. Only the little popup warning is new, and that doesn't bother me very much. Better to be safe than sorry. Most other sites I visit are secure.
Anyway, thanks JC for the info. on how to change the insecure setting warning. I have used the "about:config" page before and am familiar with it.
