Thanks, I'll look into that. The basic information is pulled from the registry but the size information is gathered via a WMI query and they may not be reporting the information in the same order so they don't match up when I combine the information. This will cause some more hair loss I'm sure!
How are the dates & times behaving?

Thanks RG - I couldn't see any other problems, and I've just checked the dates (well the 2017 ones) and they all seem fine. I'll let you know if I find any other issues - but probably not till next month, got to save that hair!

Ok, I got the monitor size matching to work correctly took some heavy thought, at least for me.

Magic! Now correct. All I have to do now is to work out why it doesn't recognise the smaller monitor as an Acer. Now where did I put that CD when I got it.....?

Access,
I have 2 identical Samsung 27" monitors on my desktop and it would only recognize the 1st one as a Samsung. I found out I could edit the registry to update the record for the 2nd one and have it report correctly. There is a comment in the code about the appropriate registry keys if you want to give it a go.
Make sure you have a system restore point if not a complete image backup before attempting editing the registry!

Hey Y'all,
It's been a while...
Well here's the latest version (01-20) of the "Local" PC info program.
This is a MAJOR rewrite. Most of it thanks to the generous gift of time and suggestions of Stephen Owen, MS MVP, who was kind enough to take a look at the code and make suggestions. Thus the menu system has been completely rewritten switching from Windows Forms code to XAML code.
He also made suggestions for the Network version which I'll be tackling next. BTW the program ran fine on his network and thus his suggestions that I remove all code in the program to setup PS-Remoting and let the user worry about getting PS-Remoting working on their machine/network as the combinations are endless.
Other changes in this version:
- Fixed formatting.
- Additional information on the Network, Storage and Windows pages.
- More error checking of results to prevent errors. Including one caused by the latest version of Windows 10 Insiders Preview 10.15061.
- More information available when run in User Mode via pulling registry information vs using code that only works when run As Administrator.
- Loading of Assemblies that are present in the ISE but not the Console version of PS (who'd have thought!).
- General clean up of the code.
I've tested this as both Admin and User on Win 10 Pro & Home, Win 7 HP, Win 10 Pro Insider 10.15061.

I'd really love for someone to test this on Windows 8 & 8.1.
Thanks to all the testers out there...you know who you are!
Now on to the Network version.

Runs fine for me. Have to look a little closer at all the output but what I've seen so far looks correct. GUI changes look good.
Nice work!!!!Joe

Great RG, as Joe says looks correct and I too like the GUI changes. It seems quicker as well....

Wavy,
Thanks for testing.
That line is trying to process the Video Driver Date and apparently the value stored is not a Date/Time Value.
What is being reported on the Video tab ?
Code:--- Video --- Item Value ------ ----- Video Name Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 RAM (Mb) 1024 RAM Type Unknown Architecture VGA Current Horiz. Resolution 1366 Current Vert. Sorry to take so long to reply. I get no driver date info or header for that.
One more grievance
The results window is not behaving, it does not want to retreat behind other windows when a mouse click should bring them to the fore front.
