Just because you don't know where you are going doesn't mean any road will get you there.

I think you have to type the tags manually.

Or, if you have AutoHotkey installed, just add it as a 'hotkey replacement' one-liner to an 'always on' script.

    HTML Code:
#s::SendInput, [spoiler][/spoiler] ; Use the Windows key + s key together to autocreate a spoiler tag
OK, this was weird... I was unable to post the command as either plain text or encased in CODE tags so had to use HTML tags instead.

    Hope this helps...

I'm a visual guy, not good at remembering a lot of shortcuts, so my way would be:

    1. Use the 'Snippets' panel in a text editor [I use Editplus] to create a 'Forum' panel with all the codes. Keep it open on a 2nd monitor and just drag & drop the required code to where you need it. I used this way for years, with various panels containing whatever text I needed—eg boilerplate responses to FAQs.

    2. These days I use TypeItIn, which offers the best of both worlds. Create visual button panels of whatever text you need, which you can launch from the System Tray / Notification Area. Simply click on the button to insert the text.
Also, you can designate as many shortcuts as you want, and when you type the trigger text, press the Ctrl key to have it inserted.

I did a theatrical performance about puns. It was a play on words.

So sorry, I should have put a F in there for that old German Fahrenheit scale that we still use. Make that 32C.

Oh my, no, not my intent at all. At least it appears you got some laughs from my leaving the F off.
