    Why use MS Sway?

    Sway is a program which is part of Office 365. Poking around it, I can't see any reason to use it when I already have PowerPoint or Publisher.

    Can anyone tell me 'what it's for'?

    I think there are many similarities and differences, but primarily Sway enables automated design of a less formal presentation for viewing in any web browser or mobile device:

    Yes, that's what I got from your links. PPt for presenter-driven design & presentation, Sway for remote viewing suited to phones & tablets.

    Look around for content in .sway format to get an idea about how Sway has been taken up.
