Get rid of "Compatibility Mode"
How do I get the "Compatibility Mode" turned off in Word 365? I tried opening the normal.dotm and resaving it, which worked (the saving part) but that didn't seem to fix it.

Update: I think I have it. I started over, and brought my dotm file out from a backup, opened and resaved it.

Compatibility mode is simply an indication that the document (or in the case of a new document, its template) were saved in an earlier version of Word. Opening and SaveAs with the same name and location will address it, but might also result in formatting issues.
