    Chrome Pop up

Just started getting 'Chrome' pop up's saying I need to update Chrome

the pop ups appear to be from something called 'omumulation.club'

I am suspecting malware/spam. Any thoughts or information?

Chrome auto updates so you should never see a pop up. To confirm it's not Chrome select the 3 dots > Help > About.

    cheers, Paul

I would say your suspicions are correct.
    Have you run MalwareBytes yet?

I am continuing to get 'omumulation.club' pop up through the W10 Notification bar.

Additionally I get 'Flash Player Out of Date' pop-ups in such a manner that I perceive it as a attempt to have me load malware. I hit the main shut down button and reboot the system before touching any key.

The first thing I would do is look in Control Panel>Programs & Features to see if it is installed, if so, uninstall it.
    This may be helpful, https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove...ds-windows-10/

You may consider resetting Chrome first to see if that gets rid of it.
