Also check out ROKU, there is a $30 version available. Just be sure you have the correct connection option for the device, WiFi or ethernet by cable.
A good suggestion to use Roku, unlike Chromecast it comes with a remote control and YouTube is built into the UI.

The FireStick arrived yesterday. Setup was quick and easy. I was worried about my wireless router, but the stick says my connection is good. I like the voice remote...it hangs every so often but the voice search makes it easy to find YouTube videos. If you don't understand something on the video you're playing, just say "go back two minutes." Easier than pressing the rewind button and then pressing play again. When I turned it on tonight, it took about 20 minutes updating the software.

    So far, I like it.

    Thanks everyone for your help.

Fyi, on YouTube with a keyboard, press J, ← and , to move back 10 secs, 5 secs and 1 frame. To move forward the same, it's L, → and .
    K to pause/continue.

I push playlists of videos from my PC to my Roku (better sound and bigger picture than my PC). Have been doing so for over a year now.
